I'm outraged!!! Adams is a gem unto itself. If that happens Trout Lake will turn into a 2nd Bend - can't let that happen! Realistically, though, they would have to get permission from Klickitat Co. to build a road in from Glenwood. I know the FS wouldn't allow upgraded roads going in from Trout lake and access through White Swan is too far out of the way, methinks. The scary thing is that the residents of Glenwood might actually push to make this happen since their town really doesn't have any other source of income other than farms and logging. If the indians approve the idea I'll join y'all on the picket line. Let's keep the backcountry backcountry.

Not sure if this is the place to post this question but... Is there any reliable website that gives current mountain weather data? Specifically freezing levels & windspeed data? Weather info on this site (the stuff I've seen) is from March. Thanks...
