was thinking rainier or whitehorse SE ridge which is mid class 5 rock, but open to ideas .

my grp is going up this route in mid may, so looking forward to a trip report. hey whiteriver road is not open til 5/1, what's your approach route?

i've done 5 routes on rainer including fuhrer finger. i have a partner now for gibraltar ledge this w/e, but that's more technical and probably will require the use of pickets, ice tool and ice axe. how much experience do you have? and are you comfortable with something like that?

which route? i was at ingraham headwall past w/e & conds look good.
