  1. Hey there!

I found some replacements for these, maybe you would like them.

    Arc'teryx:

Alpha SV jacket, men's medium, orange color

    $180.00

Theta SK bibs, men's medium, cinder color

    $140.00

Both in basically perfect condition, especially the Alpha Jacket.

    PM if interested.

    Thanks!

  2. Rossignol Boadercross snowboard: 162cm with Sims Posi Link bindings. Basically like new, but I'm thoroughly converted to skiing now. This board does everything, and has tons of edge hold on hardpack. The bindings are plenty wide enough to take a plastic climbing boot---what I used for backcountry. This was one of Rossi's highest end boards a few years ago, yours for $125 with the bindings (bindings cost me $200 alone!)

Rossignol Big Bang skis: 177cm, 107/74/94. These are kind of beaters; multiple mount holes, bases just ok. They would make good approach skis probably. I am selling them with a matching pair of Ascension ClipFix skins that (unlike the skis) are totally perfect condition. They come with the little backing strips and the original skin bag. Both skis and skins for $60.

    OK, one more thing

Mountain Hardwear Paclite parka: men's large. It's a few years old but has no issues whatsoever. I always thought this Paclite breathed better than regular GoreTex, but even if you don't agree it doesn't change the fact that the jacket is still totally waterproof. $40

    PacliteJacket.jpg

    Thanks!

  3. My closet still has too much---maybe you could use some of this stuff:

Integral Designs Dollomitti Parka: Lightweight, primaloft insulation, windproof outer fabric, zip off hood, like new. Size large. $75

    Dollomitti.jpg

Arc'teryx Theta AR bibs: Size medium, men's. Perfect except for a little scratch on one knee that effects nothing. $120

    ThetaARbibs.jpg

Arc'teryx Gamma Sallopette: Size medium, men's. Perfect condition. It's a jumpsuit made out of Polartec's Powershield heavier weight. Makes a good shell for winter. $85

    GammaSallopette.jpg

Arc'teryx M40 ski/board pack: Men's, short. They say you can carry snowboards --and-- skis with this one, and it really does work that way. The skis go together on the back instead of on the sides in the usual way. $60

    M40front.jpg

Lowa Cristallo boots: Men's 9.5US. This was Lowa's super-duper ice boot from a couple years ago. Leather, lightly insulated, stiff, takes just about any crampon, very nice. They are just too narrow for the Franken-boats I call feet. Basically unused. $150

    Cristallo1.jpg

PM if interested in any of this.

    Thanks!

  4. 1 each:

Arc'teryx Gamma Bib (Powershield with watertight side zips, triple slider seat zip, and instep patches, with the upper like normal bibs) size medium, men's.

Arc'teryx Gamma Sallopette (Powershield with normal zips and the vest style upper) size medium, men's.

Both include the knee pads and have been worn a couple times but are in like new condition. $125 each or $200 for both, (these were around $400 each new).

Arc'teryx M40 snowboard pack, Teal color, size small, men's. Basically new condition. $80 takes it.

Reason for selling: just not using them.

Feel free to PM me with any questions, or if you would like to see some photos.

I'm in the Bothell/Woodinville area and can arrange to meet for a sale.

    Thanks!

  5. I need cash and you need more gear, so how about...

    Snowboard Stuff:

    1. Rossignol BoarderCross snowboard 162cm long with red and white top and black base. Base, top, and edges are in perfect shape. Base came heavily structured from the factory and is fast. Ride is stiff and snappy with excellent edge hold on hardpack, and it does powder also. I don't think Rossi made too many of these, something for their pet riders maybe? Whatever, it's a really nice board, you'll love it!

    2. Simms PosiLink freestyle bindings size large, (or wide).

    3. Arc'teryx M40 snowboard pack size S, color Teal. Like new condition.

    4. Sherpa Mtn. Snowshoes with step in bindings modified by me. These snowshoes latch on tight, stay on, and climb awesome. Excellent condition.

    5. Koflach Degree plastic boots size 9.5 US mens, used a bit but no smells and they work fine. Fit the snowboard and the snowshoes.

    6. Grivel Rambo crampons mono point. NEW, never used. Listed here because I used some of the binding pieces on the snowshoes. Easily switched back however.

    $350 TAKES IT ALL!

    Winter Mountaineering Stuff:

    1. Sierra Designs Stretch Dome Expedition tent NEW, NEVER USED. 3 person, vestibule with pole and windows. It's the cats meow of bad weather/winter, double wall shelters.

    2. Grivel Pamir ice axe 75cm. Used a bit, but looks good.

    3. ThermaRest long inflatable pad Used once, looks new, and oh so soft and warm!

    4. Petzl Zoom lamp Extra bulbs and battery

    $300 TAKES IT ALL!

    1. Access XCL frame 18", black, 3.75lb alu.

    6. Cane Creek S2 headset

    7. Cane Creek Ergo bar ends

    8. Panaracer Fire XC Pro tires

    9. Eggbeater pedals

    10. Whole bunch of extra stuff: To get you started; SKS Shockblade front and rear fenders, frame pump, 2 water bottle holders, Topeak seat pack and mini tool, floor pump, slick road tires and tubes, tire levers, Sigma BC 1600 computer with cadence sensor. I can even throw in some nice Shimano 3 strap shoes (size 9.5 US men's), a Bell Influx helmet (size M), and some Briko Sprinter sunglasses with 3 lenses!

THIS BIKE LOOKS AND RIDES LIKE NEW!

    TAKE ALL THIS FOR $500!

  8. Long, black, and bad; its an Undertaker! I have used it one time and it is in new conditon. This snowboard is 198cm long and has the swallow tail, black top with cross graphic, white underside. Produced in France. It does work well in pow, but I must reduce my quiver. Why pay $600 for one when you can have mine for only $200...

  9. My skis are still here,

    winter is comimg,

    get ready,

    buy my skis!

    Tua Mega Plus---187cm

    Silveretta Easy Go 555---size large

    Lowa Struktura---size 10.5 men's

    Skins---Coll-Tex Combi Extreme

    All in great shape.

    Skis = $ 300

    Boots = $ 125

Skins = I'll throw them in if you buy the skis!

Even better, I'll sell the whole lot for $380!

  10. The purpose of my post is not to try and find out some way to 'cheat' and avalanche or give myself a false sense of security. Virtually everything we ski in the backcountry is potentially dangerous. No matter how good you think you are at stability analysis there is always a chance of being hit anyway, something that should be on everyones mind. The only safe slopes for skiers are ones that have no snow on them. In addition to transciever, probe, and shovel, skiers take their straps off. I want to know what snowboarders do about their bindings---thats it.

  11. Is anyone out there thinking about how they are going to get out of their bindings if (when) hit by an avalanche?

I have heard about something called 'rip cords' that are supposed to allow you to release your freesyle bindings

quick. Does anyone use them? Who makes them?

This season I am seriously looking at the Bomber plate bindings (trench digger) because I want to use my ski boots on my boards.

The drawback is that it looks like it would be really tough to get out of the things if you were in a big hurry.

Bomber also makes a step in version that only works with board hard boots. There is a pull cord at the top of the boot

for releasing. Has anyone rigged this with 'rip cords'? Are Bombers even any good?

    All advice will be appreciated.

  12. I have got to get rid of this stuff. First I'll summarize what I have for sale:

    1. Tua Mega Plus skis with Silveretta 555 Easy Go step in

    bindings---$300

    2. Lowa Stuktura GTX, mens size 10.5---$125

    3. Arc'teryx Beta Light Gore-Tex jacket, mens L, color is

    stone---$100

    4. Salomon Super Mountain 8 leather climbing boots, new in

    box, color blue, mens 9.5---$75

    Ski: Tua Mega Plus

    Size: 187

Condition: Top: Looks good, but a little wear and tear---some

scuffs on the tails, and a couple of chips at the

    nose.

    Base: Looks perfect.

Use: 10 to 12 times out.

Age: 2 to 3 years old.

Binding: Silveretta 555 Easy Go, size large, (will fit 10+ boot)

    Price: $300

This is a good AT setup for powder and spring corn. The bindings have only a heel release, but they have proven very reliable for me, and I have never wished for a toe release. They will fit a Koflach plastic boot of at least size 9.5.

Need some boots? I have a pair of Lowa Struktura GTX size 10.5 mens. They have been used and have some wear and tear marks, but they DO NOT stink, and work fine.

    Price: $125

If you would like to buy both the skis and boots I will sell them for $400 and throw in my Coll-Tex Combi-Extreme skins for free.

My Arc'teryx Beta Light jacked needs to go too. It is a very light three layer gore-tex jacked that is short length. It is shorter than than the Alpha, but longer than the Kappa. It is now too big for me, (I lost alot of weight).

    Jacket: Arc'teryx Beta Light

    Size: Mens L

Condition: Like new---worn twice for about 1hr each time.

Weight: The mens M was listed as 17.5 ounces, so the large

would be 1 or 2 more.

    Color: Stone

    Price: $100

Salomon Super Mountain 8 climbing boots

A leather boot with a stiff sole and comfortable padding. New, in the box, and includes the spare insoles.

    Size: Mens 9.5

    Color: Blue

    Price: $75

PM me if your interested in any/all of this shit. I live in the Woodinville area and would prefer to meet buyers so they can look at my stuff in person. I prefer cash payments.

    Thanks for looking
