Clover

There was a good bit of avy debris with not too many tracks across it--didn't look like there was much unstable stuff left to go. We stayed in the tracks on the traverse and watched our step anyway, though. Better safe than sorry. After the next batch of snow the place will be a death trap, though.

Went up the north face of Chair Peak yesterday and had my fairly newish BD Rage hammer fall out of my loop at some point while rapping down. I last had it on the summit and realized it was gone at the bottom of the second rap, so it's somewhere between the two. It has a red webbing leash on it. If you're up there and find it, I'd really love to have it back. There's a cash reward and a beer and plenty of good karma in it for you. Thanks, Clover littlececie@yahoo.com
