On the bright side, without glaciers we wouldn't have to worry about falling into those pesky crevasses.

Couple people mentioned the REI full zip pants. I have a pair that managed to survive a glissade on icy snow after I put them on backwards with the unreinforced side sliding on the snow. Also pretty cheap for g-tex.
