  1. yeah. I have a pair of Vasak's with this attachment. In general, the crampons are great, but the new lever feels like it is going to snap off when you cam it over. I wound up sanding a 1/4" off the heel sole of my boots with a belt sander to ease up the tension on the crampon mechanism. That being said, once they are on, they are not going to come off.

  2. Almost all the outdoor clothing I have bought has weighed more than advertised. My Cloudveil Enclosure Parka was the biggest offender: MFR weight: 23 oz. postal scale: 36 oz. I expected a few extra ounces, but that difference was unacceptable. I returned the jacket.

  3. It's used, but has plenty of life left. No rips, tears, or broken zippers. Always stored unstuffed. Very warm for only 15 oz. Great for ski touring, mountaineering, climbing or whatever. I got the hooded version for birthday, so I don't need this one anymore. $35 + shipping from SLC, UT. PM me if you are interested

  4. Feathered Friends Hummingbird sleeping bag. It has the optional 800+ fill down. The size is regular. Left zipper. Weighs about 1lb 9oz. The shell is nylon. Don't know exactly which type of nylon, but it is somewhat transparent (you can see the down feathers inside though it). It packs down to the size of half a loaf of bread. This is a very nice ultralight sleeping bag, but I need the $ for school & I probably won't use it much in the next few years anyway. It has always been stored unstuffed and has no stains, rips, broken zipper teeth, or smells. $125 plus shipping from 84109 (SLC, UT). I prefer paypal or money orders. I will ship upon receipt of payment. Email me at mmk2@comcast.net if you are interested. Thanks, Mike

  5. Patagonia DAS Parka. The size is medium. The color is blue. I bought this jacket for Aconcagua earlier this year & only wound up wearing it a couple of times on the mountain. It's a great jacket, but I don't need it anymore. It's in excellent condition & would be hard to tell from new. A great choice for alpine, expedition, or ice climbing adventures. This is one of the best made & most popular synthetic insulated jackets going. Weight is 27 oz. See www.patagonia.com for more details. $125 plus shipping from 84109

  6. Mmmmm... plastic boots. OK, so maybe not the best choice for climbing M10, but they are warm & reliable. Great for expeditions or waterfall ice. No busted parts. Take just about any crampon. Liners are in A1 condition (I removed them & swapped with different liners when I used these boots). Size is Mens 8.5. $75 + shipping.

    1. Vortex 1800 cu. in. backpack. It's in good condition. I used it for ski touring. It has a outside pocket which also serves as a "beavertail" kinda thing too. I did ad a reinforced hydration hose hole at the top. It has a waist & sternum strap. It's a well made pack. $20

    2. Metolius 4 step aiders (5 if you count the little one up high). They are in great condition. I wound up with 3 pairs of aiders somehow, so I don't need these

    3. 200' of 6mm cord. I used this a few times as a lightweight rap line with my 9.4mm rope. It's in A1 condition. I prefer half ropes now, so I don't need this. Use it as described above, or cut it up for cordalettes, tieing up your girlfriend to bed or whatever $30

    10. Granite Gear Sidecut OB backpack. Pack is essentially new. Don't know why I bought it, but I don't need it. Designed for ski touring. Has a spot for shovel. Heavy duty straps built in for carrying skis. Heavy duty zippers. Sternum & waist straps. About 1200 cu. in size. It has a hydration port & pocket. Another pocket inside main compartment. $25

    11. Black Diamond Bullet pack. Great for carrying while climbing. Holds sneakers, water, a layer & snacks. It's in pretty good condition. It has been hauled a few times, but is made from really tough fabric & has no holes or defects. Also has one small pocket for little items. Capacity is 16L. Lots of life left. $15

    12. Thermarest 3/4 length. It's a little thicker than my ultralight 3/4, so I guess it's the guidelight? It's green & brown. This pad is in almost new condition. No repairs or defects. $20
