Aerial photographer John Scurlock captivates, motivates, and educates with his stunning pictures of the Cascades. Ascent Outdoors will host the photographic pioneer on the evening of January 10th as part of the Hike Back in History series by Washington's National Park Fund.
Hear from Scurlock on how photos not only capture snowy landscapes, but help preserve, research, and explore them. Not to mention looking at lots of his incredible photos as we start celebrating the 50th anniversary of North Cascades National Park!
We’ll also have related artifacts from the WNPF collection, including maps of the North Cascades and an original copy of the photo book that helped convince Congress to create North Cascades National Park. Please join us for an evening of history, beer, and beautiful photos by Washington’s John Scurlock.
