  1. Hi all. This is a bit of a re-post from a month ago. I'm new to the Seattle area and looking to get out and do some of the more classic rock and glacier routes in the region (think Fisher Chimneys, W Ridge Forbidden, DC on Rainer, CD on Baker, Mt Stuart). I'm often available mid-week and weekends (except for this next weekend). I've been climbing 14 years and consider myself competent on rock, snow and glacier travel. Hope to hear from partners with experience and a decent level of fitness looking to do or repeat these routes. Thanks Rick
  2. Hi, I just saw your post. I'm up in Seattle but will be needing to get to the Sacramento area, probably in mid-September. Keep me in mind if you are still looking for someone to share gas with. Rick 760-937-9151
  3. It looks like there are several people interested in the DC this weekend. Hopefully I'm not late to the party, am interested in joining up if possible. I'm in Seattle, have been climbing 14 years, snow, rock and alpine. If there's room, or the chance to split into two teams, please let me know. Rick 760-937-9151
  4. Hi Dan, i'm new to the area but have 14 yrs experience climbing rock and snow with some glacier travel mixed in there. Most everything is new to me so I'm open to suggestions as to what to climb. Let me know if you still are looking for a partner Rick
  5. Hi, I was just hiking around Snoqualmie pass yesterday and got inspired. There's still a ton of snow but it seems to stay reasonably firm for walking. I'm in Seattle, have a car and trad rack but no rope. I have 14 years climbing experience, mostly rock but snow/ice too. I'm into getting on some of the more classic alpine routes. I have this coming Tuesday off if you are interested in trying something. rziegle2@son.jhmi.edu
  6. I'm an experienced rock climber with a moderate amount of glacier travel experience as well. Am new to the area and looking to see some of the easier classics, (Forbidden Pk W Ridge, Disappointment Cleaver, etc). I have a full rock rack with doubles of BD cams to #3 but currently no rope. Let's go climbing....day trips or longer. rziegle2@son.jhmi.edu
