robandice Posted May 4, 2016 Share Posted May 4, 2016 Fellow mountaineers! I'm looking for a partner(s) for Mount Shasta next week, sometime between 5/9 and 5/13. I'd like to do Casaval Ridge, but I'm open to Green Butte Ridge or the West Face Gully as well. I have all the necessary gear except a tent, which I intend to rent. Not planning to rope up, unless you have a rope and pickets (I have a harness and several slings and carabiners). About me: My alpine/snow experience is somewhat limited. I've taken a three day mountaineering skills course, and recently summited Mt. Tallac, where I encountered some steep climbs and traverses and decent exposure without any issues. I've been hiking and scrambling for years, and took up technical rock climbing last spring. I'm in excellent physical condition and have been training for this climb for several months. Ideally I'm looking for somebody more experienced than I am, however I'm also open to a partner of equal/similar experience.
