I learned a lot in the process but it was all snow shoeing up hill. Didn't use ice tools or crampons at all. I am looking to learn basic snow movement and ice tool techniques. Text me at 206-384-1713 if anyone is interested in teaching a person who is new to this snow and ice game. Have all the equipment necessary, crampons, helmet, ice tools. stevetimetravlr Posted January 7, 2016 Share Posted January 7, 2016 So you learned the first lesson, snowshoes are not real practical nor fun. Better skis or just booting it.
