kmehrtens Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 My Vector HR display and watch has stopped working. By "stopped working" I mean that the display still shows the time when the watch stopped working but the watch is unresponsive. I can push any of the buttons or even hold the backlight button down and I get no response. This is the second time this has happened. I purchased the watch in September 2010. The first time this happened was July 3, 2015. I removed the existing battery and installed a new and fresh battery and this cleared the display and the watch started working again with no issues. The watch malfunctioned a second time this past weekend (November 15, 2015). Has anyone seen this issue before? This picture was take this morning. Thanks. Quote
kmehrtens Posted November 25, 2015 Author Posted November 25, 2015 In case anyone cares, this is the response I received from Suunto Service: There has been leakage to your wristop. This has caused non repairable damage to the motherboard. This leakage is caused due to a dirty o ring and is considered physical damage. Physical damage is not covered under warranty. The only option is replacement. Quote
