elandmann Posted February 20, 2015 Share Posted February 20, 2015 I am writing a new guidebook for the Orient Bay, Kama Bay and Thunder Bay areas of northern Ontario. This area is right at the top of Lake Superior. It will be a full-color book, 128 pages, featuring select routes (approx. 100 routes), color photos and route descriptions. My very part-time company Granite Publishing, in December 2000 published Superior Ice and it has been out of print for 5 years. In the meantime there are scores of new routes, including many high-standard thin ice and mixed routes. This area now has nearly 500 documented ice and mixed routes!
