Edgeworks Climbing offers one of the Northwest’s finest indoor climbing facilities with Individual and Corporate Memberships and Programs, Climbing School and Guiding Programs, Fitness Classes (including Yoga, Pilates and Strength), Groups and Events, and strong year round Youth Programs. General Summary: Responsible for corporate/institution related sales, working both independently and as part of a team. Responsible for actively seeking new prospects and leads and maintaining current accounts; from beginning to end is responsible for all sales and account management of new and existing corporate/institution accounts. Core Functions: • Develops and manages leads and customers to establish lasting relationships and sales. • Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach. • Actively seeks new leads and opportunities to further sales into existing and new markets. Principal Activities: • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers within corporate/institution related products and services to generate new business. • Makes telephone calls and in-person visits to existing and prospective customers. • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers. • Coordinates and works effectively with marketing, accounting, and gym operations. • Reports weekly leads, meetings and calls, work plans, and monthly/quarterly sales results. • Accurately forecasts and budgets annual, quarterly and monthly revenue. • Develops and evaluates new and existing sales programs. • Develops and maintains product/price lists for corporate products and services. • Collaborates with the General Manager to develop specific strategies, plans and campaigns for revenue growth within corporate/institution related products and services. • Collaborates with General Manager and Marketing Manager to establish and control sales related expense budgets. • Contributes actively to team efforts and goals as needed. Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years outside sales experience. • Climbing and/or Retail/Recreation industry experience (preferred.) • Ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach). • Must be motivated, results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment. • Experience in developing sales strategies. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Experienced and proven team contributor.
