Step in heal with quick-adjust thumb screw, and toe-bars to fit any boot whether or not they have a toe-bail slot. Anti-bot plates keep snow from sticking (included), although the latex on these is starting to deteriorate so may need to be replaced soon. Perfect for moderate to steep couloirs (e.g., Black-Ice Couloir in the Sierra or Stuart Glacier couloir) but also work great on glacier walk-ups. Fits perfectly on La Sportiva Trango boots (also for sale - see other link), as well as nearly any leather or plastic mountaineering boot (been used on Nepal Tops, Kolflach Verticals, etc.).
