Purchased in early 2013, this the original iteration of this model, meaning that it is jam-packed with down. (The subsequent version of the Peak XV seems to have less fill.) This jacket is VERY stout and warm. I'm simply looking to replace it with something more versatile. It has been compressed and carried up Rainier twice. Otherwise it enjoys being fully-lofted on a wooden hangar in my closet. There are no tears, stains, funky smells or abrasions. The zippers all run smoothly too.
