raisinbran Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Hi, I'm looking for partner(s) to climb the East Face of Sharkfin tower this weekend. I spoke with NFS this afternoon who had recently surmised the glacier conditions via binoculars, those of the Quien Sabe glacier may support the approach despite "late season" conditions we have been seeing around the Cascades. I'm thinking of a Friday afternoon or early Saturday departure to get to Marblemount by 6pm Friday or 7:00am for permits when the ranger station opens. After the CRR and Boston Basin approach, we should be able to climb on Sunday and do the descent/return that night. I have all the gear and can drive. Look me up! Jay Quote
