hobson1 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Hey y'all. I'm a UW student from AZ looking to start climbing regularly, preferably big mountains, out here in the NW. I've been up both Hood and Adams but turned back near the top of both due to bad conditions. I also summitted Mt. Whitney in the Sierras a few years back. I'm a newb, looking to learn the craft. If you are looking to take someone on out of the goodness of your heart, I'm extremely eager to learn and am willing to go on adventures just about anywhere just to get out there. I'll split gas and have access to most all gear needed. Let me know folks. Thank you, Matt Quote
Newman55 Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Matt, Have you checked out the UW climbing club at all? Probably a good place to start. Quote
climbsomething Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Matt, Im always looking for partners to climb with. Went up Rainier last spring and Shuksan in the fall as well as other misc overnighters. I have trips planned for St Helens in May and Adams in June. Like I said always looking for more people to go with. Quote
Jeremy.0 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I'm "in the market" for some new climbing partners as my current climbing partner's have work/family responsibilities that make scheduling somewhat difficult and I don't end up getting out as much as I'd like. Only issue is that I live on the other side of the cascades, but I'm used to driving. Quote
