Cyclopath
I had an eight-hour lesson on Sunday with AAI guides, where I learned to belay, to rappel, and did a lot of top-rope climbing. This was my first time climbing, I got excellent instruction, and think I'm competent to belay (but not so much to check things before climbing), but have very little skill and experience. I want to get more, learn best by doing, and it's outdoors that interest me. I'm hoping to find some people with more experience who'll let me join them for some rock climbs within a few hours of Seattle. My ideal situation is top-roping, with me doing a lot of belaying and some climbing, and asking questions. I have a helmet, shoes, harness, ATC device, and locking carabiner.
