vantage air quality

was hoping to get out to leavenworth this weekend, but the fires seem way to close. has anyone been out to vantage recently? is it a black cloud of cancer? or the same ol' choss pile we've come to love

Went there last Wednesday in similar conditions. I live in Roslyn and it looked bad here when we left. However, at Vantage it was not so bad and actually ended up ok as the day went on. It's hotter this week, though, and last week was barely tolerable in the sun. Because of the heat, I'm headed for X38 tomorrow.
