Lost my pair of red MSR Lightning Axis 22" snowshoes with attached flotation tails on my glissade back down the mountain. Didn't realize until I had already lost a couple thousand feet that they were gone. Passerby said they saw them up there, just thought that I had ditched them to boot pack up. They said they saw them between 6-7000'. Should be very close to climbing route if no one has moved them to a rocky spot so they don't get covered up by snow.

Salutations Mother's Day climbers! Blessed with a warm bluebird day, ye kind souls that plan to ascend our matron saint of vulcanism, please keep a lonesome pair of snowshoes in your thoughts as you make your way to the rim. Methinks there is glimmer of hope that a reunion with my dear gear is still a possibility. Godspeed! :o)
