WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Seeking advanced Ski mountaineer partner/s

Recommended Posts

Hi, Just moved here from Colorado. I am hoping to find some excellent snow and climb some major peaks in Washington this winter/spring. I telemark ski, have avalanche training, gear and have weekends available to go anywhere within 3-4 hours of Seattle. Please contact me if you would like to mountaineer, ski, ice climb and consistently climb big peaks over the weekends.

Big peaks? You mean Rainier, Baker and Adams? There are some great ski tours and ice climbs on some small peaks around here that might just blow your mind. I'm going to plug Turns-All-Year.com because there is a pattern of where people go and if you can learn it, you won't have any problem finding a partner. For now, hit the resort slack-country and there you'll find your future partners yipping to face shots.

Hi, Dave.

We can give it a try. I guess we are mostly in the same page. We can try with one easier climb like Adams or the like (long, but no crevasses). We can go up from there.

My mail is ndipaolo -at- gmail.com

Send me a message and we can try to put 4 people to go somewhere this w/e if you want, turkey is not for me...
