ebernhoft Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 The plan: have a go at summiting Mt. Olympus on the Olympic peninsula. We are departing Wed, July 27th and returning Sun July 31. We are looking for a 3rd -- 4th member for our rope team for safety's sake. Were looking for someone who has rock/alpine experience and is adequately equipped. About us: two guys in late 20's and early 30's. Well equipped. Recently practiced up on crevasse rescue/z pulley systems. One of us has previously summitted Mt. Olympus ~ 10 yrs ago and knows the route. The other has recently taken a crevasse rescue course through AAI in Bellingham and in the past month climbed Mt. Shuksan (guided).
