North Face Expedition 36 tent

This is a four-season, 3 man tent that is typically used as a spacious two-man expedition tent. It has been used on two trips to the Alaska Range, and has performed amazingly well. My climbing partner and I actually continually remarked on how luxurious this tent was.

 

It has a large vestibule, and a six-pole design that helps it stand up to the fiercest winds. It has been discontinued (I don’t know why, it is the best tent they ever designed), but it retailed for $550 new. A similar tent will run you $600+ nowadays.

 

I absolutely love this tent, but now that I have a kid my expedition days are behind me. I will sell it for $400, and throw in the footprint and gear loft at no additional charge.
