shanevg Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 My family and I skied North Twin Sister on June 12. We had a great trip but we did run into some avalanche problems. My wife wasn't too keen about skiing down the snow face and so she left her ski's at the bottom of the hill. Unfortunately we triggered some avalanches that ended up burying her skis at the bottom of the hill. We were able to recover one ski and one pole but there is still a ski and pole missing. If anyone happens to come across this ski as the snow melts, please let me know. I have included pictures of the ski and pole. Of course the ski did have a skin on it, so now my wife has one ski, one skin, one binding, and one pole. If you happen to find the ski we would really appreciate it if you let us know!!! Thanks! Attached is a photo of the ski and pole at home. Quote
professor Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 I found your ski and pole at the base of the north slope of the North Twin Sister yesterday 6/27. Assuming someone would return to look for it, I placed it upright in the snow and left it. Go get it. Quote
shanevg Posted June 29, 2010 Author Posted June 29, 2010 (edited) Thanks! I'll try to get up there this week and get it! If anyone is planning on going up before and wants to volunteer to grab it for me I would be very appreciative! Edited July 3, 2010 by shanevg Quote
