cman Posted December 7, 2009 Share Posted December 7, 2009 Trip: Kendall - Date: 12/6/2009 Trip Report: Jeff H and i went up to snoqualmie with an idea of skiing Lundin but without much expectation of great conditions. We were surprised to find it snowing hard and a lot of new snow, as much as a foot up high. It was still icy in the trees and not much new snow in there so we opted for Kendall. Good turns were had, an interesting mix of powder on carvable crust. The trees coming down where decent in the open parts, smooth crust with powder, and terrible in the tighter trees, icy and pockmarked with little new snow. Overall a fun ski and unexpectedly good.
