turn_one Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Some buddies of mine encountered a problem while descending from their North Ridge climb on Sunday that forced them to leave some things behind. They used the Ingalls approach, climbed the full North Ridge and descended the Sherpa glacier. This is what I know has been left: [*]ice axe and crampons at Goat Pass (left on the way out) [*]Lowe pack, pocket rocket stove, harness, rock shoes, sleeping pads & bags at the base of the lower North Ridge [*]misc gear left for an expedient rap towards the Sherpa glacier They don't expect any of this returned and have written it off but...I know most heading into that area already have more than enough of their own and wouldn't have any room for such things, but if you do, or happen to be doing a day hike in the area I know any help would be appreciated. Thanks Quote
monicak Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 You are really a good person... I know losing their gear became incosequential, but getting it back, I'm sure they wouldn't mind! THANKS Quote
