The Rambo Evolution 2 is ideal for steep ice and mixed terrain. The offset shaft places the head of the axe further forward, allowing a shorter, less awkward swing. The Rambo comes with the renowned Evolution pick. The Evolution tapers down to a scant 2.7mm at the tip and penetrates ice better than any pick on the market. Care must be taken not to overdrive the pick. The new contoured grip is less fatiguing and ensures and accurate swing. Freedom Leash: Simple, secure, and comfortable, everything you need in a leash. By placing the sewn loop over the hammer or adze, a slide bar allows the wrist loop to enlarge, freeing the hand. These tools have been used only one occasion (3 routes) and are still in brand new condition. Ever since their initial use, they have been stored in a cool dry place (a plastic storage ben).
