Unimog for sale

I ran across this while galavanting across the Inland NW region:

 

1963 Unimog FS. 31k miles, $9,000. 406-544-2398

 

I saw it parked outside a gear shop in CDA, ID. It looked like it was in really good shape. The phone number is a Montana area code. It's not mine, I don't know much else about it. Call the number if you want more info.

Wow, that sounds like it hasn't seen much use. I used to ride around the South African bush in a Bedford lorry that was like the Mog only bigger. Those things are awesome! Did it have a flat bed or was it like a pickup? Was it diesel or petrol? You can fit much gear and many people into a Mog and run all those sissy Hummers off the road, too.

appeared to be pick-up style and had a 'cab height' canvas cover over the bed. fuel type unknown.
