1927 GM Frigidaire Refrigerator that is in good condition. Evidently, we don't "drink like we used to" so it's time for it to go. It's been in my family since 1972 and has been cared for, in an almost sacred way, ever since. About 20 years ago my brother and I decided that it would make a better place to store a keg than it would meat, cheese and produce. It needed a tap. So we drilled a hole in the door and fitted it with a tap adapter to which we affixed many incredibly beautiful, artisitc pulls with which to draw our brew.

This modification of course (at least I think) would preclude any collectors from buying this, but it's that type of fridge. The details:

It's small so it only fits a pony (1/4 barrel). Or it holds a ton of cans/bottles of your favorite brew.

It's old so it's a little thrashed, and could be painted, but the integrity remains intact 100%. It's also very clean. I'm anal about stuff like this. It operates fine other than the thermostat. It gets cold. Not a problem for a keg, but after a few days cans and bottles will freeze. It either needs replacing or it needs some adjustment by someone that knows this stuff.

I'm asking $100 only because they are for sale elsewhere for anywhere from $250-750. I wouldn't be selling it other than I could use the space in my garage. And because "we don't drink like we used to." If you can convince me that $100 is too high feel free. But I'm not going to give it away. Out of principle of course.

I'll post some pictures if necessary, or just PM me and I'll email them to you. A Portland pick-up would also be nice.

I have a friend that would be interested in that. He collects (or he at least said he collects old electronics like that at the Christmas party were at). But he showed me his Marantz receiver from 1970(?) in his retro living room that he originally took to a cat he found on the internet in Seattle that refurbishes old electronics like that.

Seems all the rage in some circles.
