The Puna de Atacama region in Chile is absolutely stunning. Desert landscape with peaks over 21,000 ft. create contrasting colors and other-worldly landscapes. Check it out:

Looking for partner(s) to do some of the following climbs in the Puna de Atacama region of Chile:

Pissis

Ojos del Salado

Bonete

Llullaillaco

Chani

Tres Cruces Sur/Central

Nevado de San Fransisco

Incahausi

I have already heavily researched the area. These are technically easy peaks but are in very remote, desolate areas. It also being the desert means you have to carry a LOT of water in. But well worth it.

I will be there in April 2008. If you have other suggestions in the area I'm open to those as well.
