We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Alaska Mountain Wiki

Recommended Posts

I have recently setup a wiki site for Alaska Mountains and have been spending most of my available time getting it working well. Currently its in baby stages and awaiting information. Any member of Alaska Mountain Forum can update it but it is open to all members of the public for viewing. Currently Mountains and Rivers can easily be added but anything in Alaska is open to add. Famous Mountaineers, Lakes, Cities, Plants, anything Alaska is allowed into this wiki site. Its constantly being update and improved and I hope that it will grow. I have been trying to get something of this nature going for quite some time and have even paid some people to set it up a system for me. Its never panned out and this time I'm doing it myself, this time its really happening!

So please visit if your at all interested and let me know your comments. I am open to all suggestions!
