Clyde Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 (edited) Snowbash 2007 - A Benefit for the NW Weather and Avalanche Center 8pm November 17 at the Tractor Tavern The Friends of the NW Weather and Avalanche Center invite you to an evening of music (Tallboys!) and dancing to benefit the NW Weather and Avalanche Center. There will be a live auction, raffle and silent auction with all of the proceeds benefiting the Friends of the NW Weather and Avalanche Center. Tickets are $20 in advance via Brown Paper Tickets (www.brownpapertickets.com) or $25 at the door. The Friends purpose is to support the NWAC and educate winter recreators about avalanche hazards. The Friends contributes to NWAC’s operational budget and assists NWAC with funding for items such as weather stations, computers, and website upgrades. The Friends is also supporting a legislative process that will create a permanent and stable funding source for NWAC. Additional information about the Friends is available at www.avalanchenw.org.
