danno Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 Weather was lousy last weekend. Hoping to find two partners, at least one of whom knows the Easton route. Ideally, both would have some level of glacier travel experience I have intermediate experience having climbed Rainier 3x, Adams, Hood, Denali. Baker has been on my list for a while and this weekend looks like promising weather. If interested, email me (dan.pingree@hotmail.com), or call my cell: 425-891-1486. Quote
ilookeddown Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 With your climbing experience I would choose another route. I skied it last month and it was extremely unrewarding. I will never ever do the Easton again. It is sort of cool to see the crater and the Roman was fun but the rest of it is low angle and boring and all the sleds buzzing by didn't help either. I am just glad that I didn’t have to walk it. Just my opinion, but choose a more rewarding route. Quote
