kixx Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 (edited) i got a pair of Superfeet insoles (the bright green ones) on the recommendation of a friend. I had a pair of Sole heat moldable insoles that held my heels in place very well on technical ice and long front pointing routes, but punished my feet in my climbing boots (scarpa alphas with intuition liners) during approaches and especially on descent. I find the superfeet insoles are a lot better on the horizontal ground (even though my feet are little looser on the front points) so far, but I have not put in any significant mileage yet. I know there are a lot of skiers out there that obsess about feet as well as climbers. Any ideas or recommendations on the best setup for long days in plastic boots? (I need doubles boots to stay warm where I go - what we really need is a leather double boot - Spantik? Anybody tried it?) Edited March 28, 2007 by kixx Quote
