Karl_S Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 3 of us have booked a ride on the Timberline snocat this Monday (1/15) to leave the Lodge at 4am for top of Palmer. From there we will be climbing Castle Crags or Reid HW if conditions permit, else Devil's Kit or last resort the Hogsback. We aren't after partners unless they have some technical experience and have ice tools. HOWEVER, we'd be elated if more people wanted to share the ride and cost of the snocat. Any takers? Couloir Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Good luck on the climb Karl. Sounds like from previous posts you have been up on the mountain. Not sure why you feel compelled to rent the Snocat. You'll be paying $100+ for a trip that would only take you 2 - 3 to hours to knock out. I would save the money. From there we will be climbing Castle Crags or Reid HW if conditions permit, else Devil's Kit Should in be in by Monday. Early Friday it was very questionable. Quote
