portable radio and radio weather forecast station

Hi,

 

I'm planning to go to the Bugaboos in August.

I'm thinking about bying a small radio for the weather report for

the area.

Do you known which weather radio station can be received up there ?

And what kind of radio should I buy ?

 

I've heard the radio "Grundig M300PE Mini World" is a nice to have .

Unless you're planning on spending several days in East Creek or somehwere else more remote, you will be able to get the weather report from the hut and all the folks that pass through the hut (if you're at Applebee). Renting and packing in a radio may be overkill for this area. Just my .02.
