scott_johnston Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 (edited) Sisyphus on Goat Wall (above Mazama) has now been completely equipped with chains at all 10 rap stations. Alex Hall and I lugged 25lbs of chain and quick links up there on Sunday to replace the rodent eaten tat on many anchors. This webbing replacement had become a regular maintainence headache that I would rather not be responsible for. If you do not see chains, it is not a rap station. I had not climbed this route in over two years so it was fun to get back on it. Great rock, great postion and solid 5.10/11 climbing on a few pitches. Warning: Do not climb this route under another party as rap rope induced rock fall is a possibility. A topo is available at NCMOUNTAINGUIDES.COM or search this site.
