Carrie Posted June 15, 2006 Share Posted June 15, 2006 My husband and I have a permit to climb the East side of Rainier over the 4th of July Weekend. My dad was supposed to come with us, but will be unable to make it. We aren't big fans of 2-person rope teams and were wondering if someone would like to join us. Our itinerary is: Day 1 Hike to camp Schurman from white river Day 2 Rest day at camp Schurman Day 3 Summmit Day 4 Hike out to white river We aren't speed climbers, but have summitted Rainier twice from Muir. We've been up to camp Schurman twice also and weathered out both times, so if it looks like crappy weather, we won't be going. PM me if you are interested.
