The Army's has just surplused some crampons, pitons and and ice screws. They only paid $6500.00 for the lot, so try your luck and see whether you can pick it up for $0.50.

Uhhh, commas and decimal points matter when reading numbers. $6,500.00 doesn't mean $650,000.00

That's wild -- I bought some of those ice screws at the Bend Army surplus store years ago, for $1.00 a piece ("hundreds of uses" the sign said.) I have yet to find a piece of ice they will actually screw into.
