knotzen
So, Peshastin fans, anyone up for a jaunt over to the sunny side on Sunday? Forecast right now is for partly cloudy, 62 degrees. I'm not a super-duper climber (hey, I'm OK, you're OK); 5.7ish on friction slabs, which is what I prefer to climb at Peshashtin (although I've done some face routes on Orchard Rock that were fun--like the tunnel route ). PM me if interested. Edited October 13, 2005 by knotzen
Freeman
We've been climbing there the last four weeks on wednesday after work (last night we got off Direct-Direct just at dark as it started sprinkling). Nice time of the year to be in the Pinnacles. Encountered a snake on the trail out to Grand Central but he was moving pretty slowly. Buzzed a little, then crawled under a rock. A friend found one in Lightning Crack a few weeks ago. Have fun
knotzen
Good deal! I've got a couple of interested folk, so hope to make it out on the weekend. We saw a baby rattlesnake at Vantage last weekend. Cute little bugger.
