River Camping

My nephew is coming to town this weekend, and wanted to go camping. Are there any suggestions to a quiet spot along a river within 1.5 hrs of seattle? Thanks

Try somewhere near Monte Cristo, I think that's one of the Stilagumish forks. drive to Barlow pass and walk up the road, there are several old state camp grounds along the river. good enough for fishing and dipping
