TrogdortheBurninator Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 A friend of mine is organizing an excellent fund raising event to benefit the major Thailand climbing destinations affected by the Tsunami. The region of Kho Phi Phi was hit particularly hard, but even the physically relatively unscathed Raylee region has suffered serious economic consequences as a result of decreased tourism. This event will provide a climbing auction, as well as a 24 hr climb-a-thon fund raiser. From the event organizer: Open to everyone. Help climbers by climbing and/or attend the live and silent auction this Friday evening at the Redmond Vertical World Climbing Gym (425-881-8826) Either way, come enjoy a good time for a good cause. Help support the tsunami relief and bid on some incredible climbing and outdoor gear from major companies. All are welcome to participate and your generous donations are fully tax deductible. Climb just one route, climb for the full 24 hours, or just attend the live auction. Redmond Vertical World will host the event Friday April 22, starting at noon and ending Saturday April 23 at noon. It's not too late to enjoy this great cause, so sign up today. more info: www.creativethatcares.org 425-649-5289
