Women's Climbers Panel Thursday April 26th 7pm. FREE and open to all at The Mountaineers Clubhouse 300 Third Ave W. Seattle. Come spend the evening with four local notable women climbers including Christine Boskoff, Lara Kellogg, Myrna Plum and Kasi Verbrugghen, as they share their stories and pictures and provide insight, inspiration and support.

Just curious- will the format of the discussion mostly be on rock climbing or will it include mountaineering/ other climbing?

Each of the panelist will talk about the climbing that they focus on. Each of the panelist has a different focus on climbing. The panel inludes Christine Boskoff who has climbed 6 of the worlds highest peaks including Mt. Everest, Lara Kellog is also an experienced alpine/mountaineering climber who has 30+ assents of Mt. Rainier and 10 descents via snowboard, plus some bigger mountains such as Denali, Hunter, Aconcagua and Ama Dablam, then we have Myrna Plum who is a alpine rock climber, she has been climbing since 1979 and continues to climb in the Cascades, Joshua Tree, Red Rocks, and Squamish, then we have Kasi Verbrugghen who is a sport/trad climber and redpoints 12a, she has also competed in rock climbing competitions.
