Camping at Squamish?

Figuring this weather is just screaming: climb rock. So I am heading up to Squamish, never been there, up from the SW - now in Bellingham.

ANyways, does anyone have suggestions for any good free camping in that zone; is there is place were I might find another solo climber lounging around camp looking for a belay?

this time of the year you can camp in the campground at the chief for free although you will have to walk in from the gate. climbers can be found in the bluffs in the afternoon or bouldering at the grand wall boulders. try the pub at the howe sound inn downtown in the evenings.
