Fromage Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 Charlet Moser S-12 strap-on crampons, well used but still with lots of life left. Good crampon for versatility, I have used them with footwear as diverse as plastic boots and running shoes. These come with long and short linking bars as well as custom lightweight antibotts. If you want a reliable pair of poons these will treat your right, or you can hike around in the woods in Lillooet (next season) with them and save your forged frontpoints for the route. Like these but with full strap attachments instead of heel lever. They are not the lightest, but in twenty years you will amaze your climbing partners with your ancient crampons. Once upon a time these retailed for $125, but have been replaced by the Vasak(tomy). $40 takes these guys home. Send me a PM if you want to check them out. Quote
