542east Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 5'10", 135, SWF loves long walks on the beach.... uh, sorry wrong forum. Tall and skinny, looking for a better-fitting pair of shell pants. I've tried women's Columbia Titanium, and a pair of men's Mtn Hardwear FTX pants. Both were too short, and men's pants fit like I'm carrying a load. I've got a pair of Helly Hansen boarding pants that fit like a dream, but I haven't been able to find anything comparable for climbing. Is it just a matter of finding a tall size in women's pants? Suggestions, fellow beanpoles? Quote
PLC Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 My wife is about your size and she just bought some goretex Mountain Hardwear shell pants from Sierra Trading Post, and they fit well. Mtn Hardwear makes pants in long sizes. I'm also pretty skinny, and Mtn Hardwear is the only brand which seems to make clothes that fit my frame (6', 150lbs). Quote
