Sherpa Fundraiser on August 16

There will be a fundraising dinner and dance performance to benefit the Sherpa Education Fund on Saturday, August 16, from 7-9 pm. Location: Himalayan Sherpa Restaurant in Seattle. Cost: $35 ($25 is tax-deductible).

This fund is run by the non-profit Alpine Ascents Foundation, and its purpose is to provide sponsorship for Sherpa children, from remote areas of Nepal, to attend school.
