nolanr Posted December 28, 2001 Posted December 28, 2001 Literally, the highs were only around 55 and it froze overnight at least once. I spent 4 days down there for Christmas w/ my bro and his family (my 15 month old nephew is the coolest little dude and well on his way to becoming a climber already!). I was down there in Aug., too and everything was kinda brown and scorched and ugly looking. Much more photogenic this time of year, some nice sunsets and sunrises, did a little rambling around and playing on some small sandstone-type formations. Snow in the surrounding foothills down to around 5' K or less. Quote
