catbirdseat Posted February 18, 2003 Posted February 18, 2003 Cascadian orginally posted the following under Spray: "Marymoor Park will offer parking payment options to suit how visitors use the park. Frequent visitors, for example, will be able to purchase monthly and half-yearly passes at significantly reduced rates, rather than pay the $1 fee each time they park. A monthly pass will cost $20, a long-term pass of four months or more will cost $10 per month, and a six-month pass will cost $50. " So, it's $100 a year to walk my dogs and climb some... I think I'll park on the street behind the Velodrome. I was there today for the first time since the fee went into effect and saw lots of cars and lots of people with dogs. I paid my $1 in quarters. The fee is collected on the honor system so, I suppose, you can just take the envelope, put it in your window and not pay the fee if you don't want to. Quote
jayswang Posted February 19, 2003 Posted February 19, 2003 From what I've read, they'll be taking fees using the honor box system for a few months. After that, they are installing electric gates. Quote
