Hey everyone, I'm looking for 1-2 people who are interested in doing the Disappointment Cleaver Route in mid to late August of 2026. My technical experience is mostly in the snow fields of the Presidential Range as well as the Glaciers in the Swiss Alps. For fitness reference, last week my friends and I completed a one day Winter Presidential traverse which is 19 miles and 8300 feet in about 13 hours.
I'm hoping to make a Rainier ascent this summer and am looking for anyone who might be interested in joining? I'd be pretty happy to attempt a 1, 2 or 3 day summit depending on preference. Please feel free to reach out at samjudahunger@gmail.com.
